It continues to just overwhelm me at times how much you can love someone. I mean, I thought I loved my husband more than i could ever imagine loving someone, but having a child even increases that! I am continually amazed, blessed, surprised, speechless..... can I just say I LOVE my life!

My only worry is that I'll squeeze her and hug her too tight :)

Kaitlyn has found a friend

Since K has started crawling, I seem to always find her going towards her new best friend, Buxton. I'm so thankful Buxton is gentle with her and 'puts up' with all her pulling and tugging and fingers on the chops! I think thier favorite place is looking out the front door!

9 months and Crawling

Kaitlyn is 9 months old already! She just started crawling last Wednesday. Buxton seems to be a good motivator for her to get movin. Check it out....

So Close

This morning as I was reading in my Bible Study I found this...

"Sometimes God's hand is so close that it covers the eyes." (Beth Moore)

WOW! That really hit me. How many times have I found myself in a situation that I feel like I can't see around or through it or in it, I can't make sense of what is happening.... only to finally find myself on the other side of it all and then see how God did a work on my behalf- usually in spite of me!

So when I'm having trouble seeing with my eyes, take heart and trust the Lord has my eyes covered for a purpose, and He will see me through!

Now, my eyes have been opened... to be covered! by the Holy Spirit and Wisdom of my Father! How comforting that is to my heart! I know I'll be pondering on that one some more

Homemade Wheat Rolls

OK... so I'm still on this bread kick... i've been watching videos on You Tube to find out the best way to make wheat breads. I came across this video for Homemade Wheat Rolls....
They were super easy and taste great! So I wanted to share it with you!
She neglects to mention how much yeast to use- so i used the equivalent to 1 pkg of active dry yeast (2.25 teaspoons).
So enjoy!

I Saw God Today...

Someone posted recently about the magic of snow.... oh - how I do agree... how can you look at this and not feel the magic?!
Thank you Lord for an even greater taste of your beauty in my backyard today...

2 Front Teeth!

Finally.... a picture of Kaitlyn's two bottom front teeth. She has been very selfish in showing them off!

The first one came in Dec. 19th and the second one on January 1st. She is not showing any visible signs on the top ones yet, other than the finger sucking!

She is still not crawling (now- I am NOT complaining about that!!), but she's up on all 4's and rocks, plus she is really good at getting around by moving backwards, somehow!
She is talking more and more to us and loves to use hand gestures :)
She continues to bring more light, love, and joy into our lives every day!
